Most coaching schools require its students to learn from practicing coaching skills with real people. For this reason, student coaches are often seeking clients for a nominal rate or no money at all. Of course, a student coach will not be as proficient as an experienced coach but if you have budgetary constraints, this is a great win-win opportunity.

The Co-active Coaches Network is the first place I'd look. This is a discussion forum with thousands of coaches and other persons interested in coaching. There is a sub-forum specifically for Vancouver coaches. Feel free to respond to requests for clients or add a discussion thread requesting a certain type of coach.
