Are You Ready for a Coaching Commitment?

Not everybody is willing to make a coaching commitment. I've created a good little list to see whether or not you are ready to go for it.

1. Responsibility - Are you ready to take responsibility for the business results you have (or don't have)? I think we all like to think that we take responsibility for our results but it's so easy to blame ____________. You get to fill in the blank...Your parents, yourself, your education, your dog, etc...

2. Be Honest With Yourself - Are you ready to be open and honest with yourself and me? Coaching calls are held strictly confidential but you need to be willing to look in some uncomfortable places.

3. Take Action - Are you ready to take action? Without years and years of hindsight information, I believe that it is better to fall forward than it is to not take a step. What's the saying? Being an entrepreneur is about going to the school of hard-what? Knocks. Ya, that's right.

4. Persistence - Are you ready to persist and make it happen? Sorry, no "get rich quick" schemes here. The gardener plants seeds in the spring and waits for the beautiful smell of summer. A wise old friend of mine once told me, "in business, things take six months to happen over night."
